polite staff prompt service helpful concierge
The staff was polite. EVERYONE. The concierge service was very helpful in arranging transportation and providing local recommendations. i found everything efficient and enjoyable.
The in-room coffee selection could offer MORE variety. It was somewhat limited.

amazing displays creative work breakfast service
The florist creates amazing displays. Alex does creative work. Julia also creates beautiful work. Breakfast service is excellent. Rooms are perfect .
I found that late check-out flexibility was not granted. This made me sad.

The front desk staff provided helpful assistance upon arrival I found the service to be friendly and efficient. The room decor included superb details there were useful amenities. Dining experiences in the restaurant were very good spa treatments also impressed me. The hotel's location makes gift shopping very easy during the holiday season. I appreciated the proximity to many shops.

overall good but some concerns
personal touch friendly staff central location rude hostess unacceptable reply delayed table
i loved the hotel size it allows for a more personal touch all of the staff were excellent they were polite friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble i really felt welcomed. the location is perfect it is centrally located to everything i could walk to most places that was really convenient for exploring. the florist does a amazing job i was impressed by the displays they were very nice to both my wife and myself too.
the hostess in the tea room was rude her name is annabel i really think she should be smiling and cute that wasn't my experience. our table wasn't ready so i asked her if she can ask someone to clean it faster i found her reply unacceptable. she said we have to wait until her manager decides to call someone that was frustrating

The room's decor included high-quality amenities. Spa treatments proved relaxing. Both in-room and restaurant dining delivered superb experiences. I found the front desk check-in staff helpful and friendly. I appreciated the excellent service during afternoon tea. Food and service were both first class. Our waiter ensured we were well looked after.

A Decent Stay
comfortable bed great location slow service old equipment
The location is great. It is very near to many shopping areas and restaurants. My Mayfair Room was well-kept and spacious. I found the bed to be comfortable. The air conditioning worked well (I especially liked that I could control the temperature easily).
I was a bit disappointed with the service in the bar. The staff seemed overwhelmed, and getting their attention was a challenge. My cocktail wasn't great (I've had better versions elsewhere). The gym equipment seemed a little old.

Mixed Feelings Regarding My Stay
malfunctioning television denied late checkout
The television in my room did not work properly for the entire stay. This was frustrating because I wanted to relax after a long day. The staff did not resolve the issue despite my repeated requests. I found this lack of attention disappointing and inconvenient. the promised late checkout was not honored making my departure rushed.
