fantastic stay on the gran via
clean roomprompt servicehelpful staff
the room was clean, and i received prompt service when i requested an iron. the front desk staff provided helpful directions and restaurant recommendations. specifically, patricia and a tall gentleman helped navigate the city and suggested a great spanish restaurant.
The pillows were too hard for my taste. The furniture seemed a little dated. it gave a different impression than the photos.

my room had a spacious layout with a comfortable king bed. i appreciated the abundant natural light from the large windows. the blackout curtains effectively darkened the room at night. the provided toiletries were high quality and frequently restocked.

the rooftop terrace was a key reason i booked, but it was closed one day due to weather. another day, it was full despite spare tables. i didn't see any notification that access wasn't guaranteed. the staff's response felt indifferent to this issue. also, i requested a twin room but received a double, and sorting it out took time with the front desk.
