helpful staff central location small room car park
The hotel staff were perfect. They were very helpful and polite. the hotel was also perfectly placed for visiting the area. It was a short walk to most local visitor attractions.
the room was very, very small. the window opened onto a car park, so i was reluctant to sleep with the window open though i was in the central city.

perfect location and great amenities!

membership program charming neighborhood mini kitchen
I booked directly through their website and found i could save money by signing up for their membership program. the location is perfect. It is situated in a charming neighborhood and a short walk from key attractions. the rooms are thoughtfully designed with mini kitchens, allowing you the flexibility to prepare your own snacks. the staff serves a selection of quality wines and coffees in their elegant public areas.
The thermostat was locked. We couldn't crack open a window. we had warm temperatures during our trip, so this was uncomfortable. i understand the need to be more efficient, but perhaps offer a bed sheet in addition to a duvet.
Dining

the hotel does not have a bar or restaurant, though they offer complimentary drinks in the evening. guests are invited to enjoy a glass of wine while mingling with other travelers and resident insiders. this happens daily from 5 to 6 pm.

convenient stay

effective curtains fluffy towels
the location is excellent only a short walk to the castle. the room was compact but included necessary amenities. i found a fridge sink microwave and a tv. i also liked the fluffy towels and effective blackout curtains.
the additional fee for having my dog wasn't clear when i booked. i thought the staff were a bit dismissive when i asked about it. i felt £30 was a high price for my pet.

the hotel does not have its own restaurant but it partners with nearby restaurants. guests receive a discount at these restaurants. i found this arrangement practical and helpful , promoting local dining options.

A decent hotel experience

convenient location friendly staff well-kept room small room no dining street noise
The hotel is conveniently located, steps away from many attractions. The staff was friendly and ready to assist with any questions. The room was clean and seemed well kept. It had everything I needed for my stay.
My room felt quite small, and moving around with luggage was a bit difficult. The absence of on-site dining options meant I had to go out for every meal. The noise from the street at night was noticeable, which sometimes disturbed my sleep.
