The breakfast buffet was very plentiful. I enjoyed cooked items, fresh bread, fruit, yoghurts, homemade cakes, meats and cheeses. All of this was set out in a fine ballroom. I also loved the vintage lift.

There was no parking. That was difficult. They charged for services I did not request. I also did not make those consumptions. There was a lack of water too.

The hotel enjoys a very central location. I easily walked to many historic areas and shops. The hotel has an elegant lobby, a cool mix of classic and modern design. My beautiful room was stylish and comfortable. I even received a nice upgrade. I appreciated the friendly and helpful staff (they gave great local tips).

The coffee from the machine at breakfast was not the best. I would prefer freshly brewed coffee.

The location was very convenient near Aliados station and within a short walk to Porto Cathedral. The hotel featured lovely decor. The cocktail shaker and fresh lemon in our room were also very nice.

Toast availability at breakfast proved a little tedious with only a single toaster being available.
