“This hotel certainly stands out for its prime riverside location within a UNESCO World Heritage site, providing guests with stunning views. While the building has architectural character, I noted that some past visitors found the service less polished than expected for a hotel of this caliber, particularly at breakfast and check-in. Still, the on-site restaurant and welcome amenities add appeal.”

vintage river view experience

classic roomriver viewextensive buffetsmall gym
i had a classic double or twin room. the room had coffee and water (included in the rate, which i confirmed!). the river view from my room was fine, i could see everything. the breakfast buffet was extensive, and the staff remembered my preferences after just one day (amazing!).
the gym was quite small, with limited equipment. i found only two machines. the space felt more like a fitness closet than a proper gym. it could use an upgrade.
Facilities

The hotel's architecture blends modern design with historic features. I especially loved the harmonious feel. a cheese and wine room had amazing river views. arriving guests receive quick assistance with luggage, it was seamless.

The room was small, but i paid extra for a river view. the description implied more space. the terrace bar closed early at 10pm. even as a guest, i was refused service. The staff insisted on immediate payment for each round. there are better hotels for less money.
