excellent central location!
central location decorative design short walk tour bus
the location was really good. the cleanliness and the decorative design impressed me. many shops and restaurants were within a short walk, as were main attractions. i found the city tour bus stop just a few minutes away. taxis were also available right opposite the entrance. the room and bathroom were very nice. the amenities and minibar were well-stocked.
the walls seemed a bit thin, i could hear some noise from the hallway.

The hotel is very central. You can walk to almost any site. its location is near many shops and restaurants. it is a short walk to main tourist attractions, including the riverfront.

breakfast was excellent with a great variety of choices. i especially liked the inclusion of mimosa. there was a great selection of fresh fruit, pastries, and hot dishes. the breakfast area was clean and well kept.

fantastic experience
lovely views comfortable bed easy exploration
the staff were helpful throughout my stay i especially appreciated their assistance with directions and recommendations the room had lovely views of the surroundings it offered a calm space i found the bed comfortable i rested well during my time there the hotel's proximity to local attractions made exploration easy and enjoyable for me
the gym equipment could use some updating i noticed some machines looked worn

the room included a comfortable king-sized bed and a well-stocked minibar it also featured a modern bathroom equipped with both a shower and a bathtub the climate control system worked efficiently and kept a consistent temperature.

the hotel is close to the riverfront, just a short walk away i was able to easily access many restaurants and shops there is also convenient access to public transportation options from this spot.

underwhelming experience
slow elevators hidden fees
I was quite disappointed with a few things . the elevators were often slow. I waited several minutes on multiple occasions. also, i found it odd that i had to pay extra to store my luggage after checking out, especially since the staff wrote the wrong room number on the tags, resulting in a bit of confusion. finally, when i inquired about a taxi, the staff pushed their own service at a higher rate without telling me typical fares..

convenient location breakfast selection helpful staff small room street noise poor maintenance
the location was really convenient, being so close to the river i found it easy to get around. i especially liked that the breakfast offered a fresh and varied selection each morning. the staff were friendly and helpful, they provided great advice on local places to visit and dine at.
my room was a bit smaller than i expected it, it felt cramped with luggage. also, the noise from the street at night was quite noticeable. i found the gym to be poorly maintained.

outdated room insufficient hot water
The hotel location was great. My room felt pretty outdated. The shower door was hard to open, and I reported it, but nobody fixed it. Hot water ran out quickly, so showers were not very good. I was also disappointed by the lack of maintenance, broken shower door.

spacious room good balcony attentive staff perfect location
the spacious room featured a good balcony and all necessary amenities, perfect for a romantic getaway. breakfast was excellent, a delicious start to each day (i especially loved the pastries!). the staff were always helpful and attentive. the hotel's location near the iconic ponte luís i bridge made exploring so easy.
the elevator was a bit slow, but the stairs offered a nice alternative with views.
