Really good Stay
warm welcome cozy interior douro river views helpful service
The staff provided a warm welcome. Each staff member were pretty good too ensure a pleasant experience. The atmosphere felt very relaxed. The interior design of both the rooms and public areas was cozy (I especially liked the color combination). The breakfast offered plenty of options. The hotel boasts a beautiful rooftop. It features comfortable chairs and tables. It provided a relaxing space. I enjoyed the fresh air up there. My room included a balcony with views of the Douro River. The room was clean. The bathroom was lovely (it had a very modern design). The hotel's location is a short walk from the main quay. The room was spacious. It was clean. The breakfast buffet included a wide array of well-prepared items. The service was attentive and helpful from check-in to check-out. I would return without hesitation.
The hairdryer was a very basic model, which could be improved.

narrow street hotel entrance
The taxi driver could not drop us directly at the hotel entrance because the street is narrow. The hotel arranged a driver who picked us up right in front of the hotel upon departure. This helped with heavy suitcases. The breakfast included many options I liked.
The room lacked soundproofing I could hear doors slamming.

excellent experience!
thoughtful touch spacious room attentive staff
wow this hotel was fantastic the staff really were really nice i really appreciated their attentiveness they even surprised my partner with bubbly for his birthday after seeing his passport such a thoughtful touch the room itself was spacious and comfortable it was also clean i can't say enough good things it made our trip amazing
the street was narrow taxis had difficulty navigating it that was a slight inconvenience

cramped room obstructed views
the staff were very friendly and helpful with directions.
the room i booked, the 'superior room', felt quite cramped. there wasn't adequate space for luggage and the layout seemed inefficient. also, the promised city views were largely obstructed by neighboring buildings.

fresh pastries local cheeses
The staff promptly helped me with my luggage upon arrival. The room had a minibar with complimentary water and soft drinks. I found daily refills of these items a pleasant touch. Breakfast included fresh pastries and a selection of local cheeses. I also enjoyed the availability of freshly squeezed orange juice each morning.
The street outside was occasionally noisy early in the morning.

Really good Service and Beautiful Design
attentive staff central location beautiful remodel
The staff was always available. They frequently checked if I needed assistance. The location is relatively central. It is a short walk to popular restaurants. The hotel remodel was completed two years ago and is beautiful. The restaurant offers seasonal food. It was wonderful.
The street is narrow. Taxis could not pass without difficulty. The room lacked soundproofing. I clearly heard doors slamming during the night. I found the noise disturbing.
