check-in was quick. my room was ready when i arrived. i was pleased the breakfast included fresh orange juice. the staff helped me find a good restaurant nearby. they gave great directions.
my room lacked a mini-fridge, i missed having a cold drink available.

A GEM IN THE HEART OF THE CITY

I found the location convenient , everything was within walking distance. The water refill stations on each floor were a REALLY nice touch. The staff were also helpful and accommodating. They assisted with taxi arrangements promptly. The room was modern and CLEAN, with a comfortable bed and a great shower.
The room had slightly DIM lighting , a minor inconvenience.

The standard double room was quite functional, with a comfortable bed and daily cleaning service, WHICH I certainly appreciated. The room size was adequate. It allowed easy movement , and all amenities were in good condition.

Their proficiency in english facilitated clear communication, and their responsiveness was always immediate. They arranged taxi services reliably , and they made wake-up calls with punctuality.

The staff were helpful and friendly.
The room was not adequately lit. There was no ceiling light. The nightstands were too small to hold much. We also needed more pillows and towels upon arrival.

The hotel has a modern interior and I found good value for money. A water dispenser was available on every floor, which I appreciated. Check-in began at 2 pm, earlier than many places. The location is not central, yet I found it easy to walk to main attractions.
The bathroom shower partition was a bit narrow, causing water to spill onto the floor. The floor also lacked a drain.

Breakfast offered a good selection of items and was an excellent value. The staff ensured service was excellent and were friendly. Their english language skills were excellent as well as i don't speak portuguese.

The location places you right next to the church of saint ildefonso. I found sao bento train station within a short walk, about five minutes. The surrounding area offers many opportunities to explore local culture and sights.
