“Ideally situated near the Ribeira, the building itself reflects Porto's dual nature-historic yet modern. I noticed the emphasis on local food at breakfast, and that the hotel welcomes pets is a real plus. Rooms, while compact, are well-appointed, making it a smart choice for those wanting to be in the heart of the action.”

the breakfast had many choices and the service was attentive. the location was close to the riverfront but not directly on it. i could easily walk to the wineries on the other side of the bridge to taste their port wines.

my room was dark. it looked into a restaurant and someone's apartment. the curtains would not close properly. i found this unpleasant.
