underwhelming stay, despite the hype

small room missing amenities

the location was acceptable, being close to buckingham palace. it was a short walk.

the room i was given was small, especially considering the price. there wasn't enough space for luggage or even to comfortably move around. i had to ask for an iron, i think it should have been in the room already.

general manager nicolas monaglio's hospitality was so heartwarming. ali at reception greeted us each day with such a beautiful smile and eagerness. horsbrugh residence became our lovely home, its space so generous, its luxury just perfect.

i noticed the room could benefit from just a tad more attention to detail in cleaning.

the staff were attentive and helpful, ensuring all our needs were met promptly and with such grace. anna arranged a last-minute high tea for us, and it was an really good experience. the front desk staff helped secure taxis during the subway strike, saving us time and stress.

The room WAS great. I got a beautiful double room and it felt clean. A tv HIDDEN in a tinted glass panel was COOL. Breakfast had an amazing CHOICE.

fresh milk nespresso machine poor service later checkout

the nespresso machine was lovely with fresh milk so i could make a proper coffee in the morning, this really met my expectations.

they told me i could have a later checkout until 12:30. the staff called twice to ask why i had not left at 12 and then sent someone to knock on the door at 12:10. it was poor service.

sewage smell faulty power points

The location was acceptable. It was close to many attractions.

The room I booked was not cleaned properly. There was a sewage smell in the shower. I found it quite unpleasant! The power points near my bed were faulty. The side panel kept coming off the wall.
