amazing hotel experience
helpful staff great selection central location
i found the staff to be polite and helpful the breakfast offered a great selection i especially liked the fresh pastries the hotel's central location made exploring local attractions very easy it was convenient to access public transportation nearby. the room was well-kept and the quality was high i appreciated the special ambiance created throughout the premises. the hotel's attention to detail contributed positively to my overall experience.
i noticed that one of the elevators seemed a bit slow at times.

the hotel is situated conveniently near several key attractions the proximity to public transport hubs made travelling very straightforward it allowed for efficient exploration of the city and nearby landmarks the area felt safe and accessible.

a decent experience overall
convenient location roof garden good breakfast complicated layout stale room dirty window
the location is very convenient. it is within a short walk of both the train station and princes street. the roof garden provided a nice space. the breakfast was of good quality.
the hotel has a complicated layout. it requires navigating stairs and corridors to reach rooms. the room i stayed in felt somewhat stale. the windows were quite dirty and did not open.

friendly concierge complimentary chocolates prosecco glass
I had such a brill stay. The friendly concierge gave ace recommendations for local spots! my room had a nespresso machine with complimentary chocolates, that helped me to settle in really well. prosecco on arrival also.
the long walk to my room involved two elevators, and it was slightly confusing.

penal institution reception abysmal bar staff
the free minibar items were a nice touch
the reception is run like some penal institution upon arrival they refused to divulge my room number I was instead compelled to engage the concierge. the bar staff was abysmal. the woman at checkout didn't even look up let alone ask if we had enjoyed our stay

david brown greeted me warmly at reception he provided extensive knowledge of the city i enjoyed the excellent service at breakfast served by katie early the next morning.
the hotel layout required taking two elevators and walking a long distance to reach my room.
