basic stay with a few issues
missing curtains insecure window
the location was good for getting around the city.
i was disappointed to find no curtains on the bunks in my dorm, despite photos showing them. the window also lacked a blind. it impacted my stay negatively.

great location friendly staff clean room
The location rocks. Shops are super close. The staff is friendly. My 'Double Room Ensuite' was clean. That's a major win. I also really liked the bathroom and shower facilities. They were great.

The building is very close to the train station. This made travel easy. Several restaurants and bars are nearby. Finding a quick bite was never an issue. There is also a metro station close.

There's breakfast in the basement. That's a simple way to start the day. A Wetherspoons is only a short walk away. It's a good option for affordable meals. Many other food places are close.

surprisingly good stay
helpful staff clean room comfortable bed
i found friendly staff at the reception desk. they were helpful with directions and local information. the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. i had my own bathroom it was convenient.
the outside noise at night was a little loud.

the location is near charing cross station. sauchiehall street is within walking distance. i found many stores and amenities close to the premises it was very easy to move in the city.

the hostel offers 24/7 reception. lockers are available for valuables and luggage storage. the rooms have tv kettle and facilities for tea. there are mirrors in the room that is great.
