Dining

The on-site Gin and Tea Rooms serves craft cocktails and a selection of wines and champagnes. A gourmet breakfast is available each morning, featuring a la carte options and locally sourced ingredients. The garden terrace offers outdoor seating for breakfast and evening drinks.

Services

All guests receive complimentary welcome drinks upon arrival. The 24-hour front desk arranges concierge services, luggage storage, and express check-in/check-out. Bicycle rental and shuttle service are available for exploring the city.

Location

The hotel is a 5-minute walk from St. Stephen's Green and a 10-minute walk from The Little Museum of Dublin. Two Luas tram stops are within a 5- to 10-minute walk, providing direct access to the city centre. On-site parking is free but limited; street parking is available nearby.

Awards & Recognition

The Wilder holds a MICHELIN Key designation, one of the highest recognitions in hospitality. The Telegraph named it one of the Best hotels in Dublin 2025. The hotel is part of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World network.

“The hotel presents a compelling boutique option, notable for its tranquil garden terrace amid Dublin's bustle. Its Michelin recognition and uniquely themed rooms suggest an investment in detail, while also pointing to a memorable stay. I find the reported dedication of the staff particularly promising.”

parking lot view smaller room
the room was clean and acceptable.
the room i was assigned faced the parking lot, this view lacked appeal. the room also felt smaller than expected, especially given the price point, it didn't quite align with what i anticipated.

underwhelming stay despite claims

cramped room clueless staff
the room i booked, a 'small double room', felt cramped, not much bigger than a closet. seriously, i've seen larger bathrooms! also, the staff seemed pretty clueless about basic tourist info. i asked about local attractions, and i got blank stares. it's a shame, because i expected more for what i paid. i would have used a taxi to go to the airport, but the cost increased, they added a surcharge that no one warned me about.
