spacious room breakfast selection convenient parking
the beautiful twin room was spacious with ample lighting i found two bedside lamps and an overhead fixture it also included a work desk. the breakfast buffet had a selection of pastries and fruits i especially liked the fresh croissants. hotel parking was available and convenient it provided easy access to nearby attractions.
the gym was quite small it had limited equipment.

stressed staff computer system
the location was acceptable it had some restaurants nearby
the staff seemed stressed and took it out on customers a bit i waited at the bar for ten minutes the staff ignored me and helped others who came later i just went to my room and drank tap water because of this the receptionist was unable to check me out at 6 am because the computer system was going through its audit cycle

some minor disappointments
poor soundproofing crowded breakfast
i found a couple things to be a let down . my room wasn't cleaned properly one day. also, the breakfast buffet was often crowded, and the staff struggled to keep up with refilling items. this meant i sometimes had to wait for certain foods. its frustrating. i also found that the soundproofing wasn't great. i could hear noise from other rooms and the hallway.

Underwhelming Stay at a Pricey Spot
insecure room uncomfortable bed
The building had a charming decor. I found it acceptable.
I had a room, and it felt rather insecure due to an outside door at street level. The bed proved quite uncomfortable, mainly because of the huge pillows. I also find the pillows unuseful.

The building is a historical landmark. The location provides easy access to many attractions. The bar has a relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast was adequate (especially the coffee!).
The room lacked a refrigerator. I found this inconvenient for storing drinks and snacks. I wish there had been one available.

spacious room real keys
i checked in early around noon and the staff let me access my room immediately. the room was a beautiful king room and very spacious (i really appreciated that). i especially liked that they use real keys with a weighted keychain (it felt so authentic).
the lobby had a slightly musty smell upon entering (it was barely noticeable, though).
