“In historic Edinburgh, this spot wins on location, steps from the Royal Mile's bustle. I see the suites as a self-catering option that balances the charm of an older building with modern needs. Be prepared for some street noise, but I think it's a fair trade for the unbeatable access to the city's heart.”

Review summary

Based on recent reviews

Royal Mile Suites By The Castle places you in a prime location, steps away from main attractions and with some rooms offering views of the Royal Mile. Guests appreciate the modern fixtures, well-equipped kitchenette with coffee, milk and cookies, and comfortable beds, ensuring a pleasant stay; plus, clear instructions throughout, even on operating the sofa bed, are a nice touch. While most find the rooms spacious, a few guests have noted that some rooms feel small. beautiful room coffee selection no elevator cleaning service

the location was great. the room was very authentic and beautiful. i found tea, coffee, biscuits, and water upon arrival.

it wasn't obvious when i booked that there is no elevator and what floor the apartment was on. it was on the 4th floor. the four nights my daughter and i stayed there, there was no cleaning service at all or garbage disposal. it should have been clear in the description that there is no cleaning service.
