unreliable hot watermissed cleaning service
I found a few issues . The hot water in the shower was unreliable. It took ages to warm up in the morning, then it fluctuated wildly. The cleaning service also missed my room one day. I returned after a long day to find the bins still full and no fresh towels. I had to call down to reception to ask for them. They did bring them up promptly, but I found the whole thing rather frustrating. The staff didn't seem to care much about it, either. I got no apology for the inconvenience.

what a great find!

delicious porridgehelpful staffroomy roomuncomfortable bed
I had such a wonderful time at this hotel. the cooked breakfasts were amazing each morning. i especially enjoyed the porridge! the staff were very cute and helpful. They offered great advice. i stayed for a few nights and i was so delighted with my room, so roomy and cool..
the only slight inconvenience i experienced was the bed. it consisted of two singles pushed together. i noticed these kept separating. it didn't make for a very comfortable sleep.

central locationgood breakfastoutdated roompeeling sealant
The location was central. i was able to walk to most places i wanted to visit. The hotel is near a park, really convenient for a morning stroll. the breakfast was good, with a good selection of options. delia and betty welcomed me warmly each morning.
The room i stayed in felt a bit outdated. i found white painted breezeblock walls in the room and white plastic trunking for the electrics, it felt more like an office block. the bathroom sealant was peeling in multiple areas. It had black marks too.
