the room had plenty of towels. i loved the separate shower and bath. the tv was big.
the front desk staff seemed rude. breakfast finished at 10, but the staff kept reminding us we only had till 10.

versatile lighting good size good pressure plentiful supply
I found the room lighting quite versatile, there were multiple settings available. the tv was a good size, i think it was at least 40 inches. the shower had good pressure and consistent temperature. i liked the plentiful supply of towels. I never ran out.
the gym was a bit smaller than i expected, it only had a few pieces of equipment.

The hotel is near public transport links. I saw several bus stops close by. it is conveniently located for accessing various parts of the city. many local attractions were within reasonable walking distance.

breakfast buffet live music
The breakfast buffet offered abundant choices and delicious food. Live music created a very nice atmosphere, and the pool was a refreshing bonus. The hotel's accessibility to nearby attractions, especially the Grassmarket, was excellent. I was able to explore the area with ease!
The Wi-Fi connection was sadly unreliable and kept disconnecting. It made it difficult to rely on for any consistent online activity. I hope they improve the wireless network soon!

the breakfast was adequate. there was a decent selection of food and drinks.
