mixed experience at this hotel
the location proved convenient for accessing queen street.
The service felt subpar for what i expect. i had to request multiple times for amenities. The minibar was not restocked properly on two separate days, and my request for extra towels was delayed by several hours.

The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection. I also liked that there were filtered water stations throughout the hotel. The bed was comfortable. The complimentary shuttle to main shops and the waterfront was useful.

smelly room falling tiles
staff were helpful and pleasant..
i booked a beautiful king room with a view but got a smelly room with roof tiles falling apart.. when i complained, they moved me to another smelly room with a view of house walls.. i ended up having to pay extra for an upgrade, frustrating after all the shifting around.

friendly staff warm water
I found friendly staff throughout the building. the buffet had fantastic food options, i saw a good selection for gluten-free diets. the pool was clean. I swam comfortably in warm water.
the room decor was somewhat dated, i felt it made the space less relaxing.

Our anniversary stay included a request for a bathtub which the staff fulfilled. We were surprised with balloons and a delicious dessert cake upon arrival. The heated pool provided wonderful relaxation. Valet parking with Brent was convenient and professional. He offered friendly assistance with our needs.

Our Beautiful King room included a spacious layout and comfortable king-size bed. The room provided a writing desk plus ample closet space for clothing and luggage. The bathroom featured a rainfall showerhead and premium toiletries that enhanced the overall experience.

The buffet breakfast offered many selections including fresh fruit pastries and cooked-to-order omelets. The on-site restaurant provided a diverse menu with dishes made from local ingredients. Molly at the Eight Restaurant ensured our table was well looked after.
