dusty ac unit unchanged sheets
The bedroom was big with AC, a definite plus .
The room felt a bit neglected I must say. The AC unit seemed quite dusty and probably hadn't been properly cleaned in ages, a concern. While the bed was made, it looked like the sheets weren't changed, so I felt a little uneasy about the cleanliness. These issues did impact my overall impression.

Convenient Stay Near Queen Street
convenient location friendly staff comfortable bed cbd access
The hotel is close to the Auckland Town Hall, great if you have an event there. The staff members were friendly. I found the bed very comfy (I slept very well). The location is very convenient for accessing the CBD.
I found that the air conditioning was not working. A standing fan was offered, but a discount would have been appreciated.

the breakfast was delicious , with a good selection of hot items. the staff were helpful , assisting with directions and local information. i found the allocated parking space useful , it gave DIRECT access to the hotel.
the elevator made a strange noise sometimes , i am unsure WHY.

central location firm bed sky tower view
the location was central (i could walk to many attractions). my room had a firm bed, i found it comfortable. the sky tower view was a nice surprise from my window.

helpful staff excellent location helpful leaflets
the staff was very helpful. the location is near the city center. the room included helpful info leaflets for first-time visitors and i found that to be a nice touch. the wifi worked well. laundry facilities were available too.
