i found the staff friendly and helpful . the lobby offered complimentary coffee, a very nice touch. the location allowed easy access to shops and dining (i particularly enjoyed a tapas bar across the street). i appreciated that i could stream from my phone to the tv in my room.
the bathroom window had some dirt when i checked in and was not cleaned (despite mentioning it).

location was fantastic. i wanted a place in the gothic quarter near port vell, and this delivered. the street felt bohemian but was very safe and quiet at night. i walked everywhere from there. fabulous restaurants are nearby, including tapas bars across the street that need reservations!!!
the plumbing had issues. the smell from the shower drain was noticeable. the toilet seized up twice and would not flush.

some Issues encountered
small roombad insulation
The room I had was just too small, honestly. It Was like a box. this area has a lot of pubs and restaurants, so it got pretty noisy late into the night, like until 3am. I could hear people in other rooms showering. The noise from the water bottle woke me up too early.

The staff was simpatico and professional. They greeted us each day. Cleaning service did a beautiful job of housekeeping. i stayed in a room with a cute balcony (it was lovely!) and i was able to watch the street activity.
the window of the shower was durty when i got in and out. i told the reception directly and they showed me another room which wasn't appealing and decided to stay in the initial room. but then the window stayed durty and has never been cleaned. it was too noisy as well.

the location suited me well because it was a short walk to many attractions I used the chrome cast feature it worked with my phone and i watched a film one evening. the staff were friendly and quick to help when i needed something. i found a great breakfast spot next door with cheaper options than the hotel breakfast.
the room was a bit small i could touch both walls if i stretched my arms out fully

The location allowed easy access to many attractions by foot. the staff was always ready with helpful directions. i also appreciated the upgrade to a room with a balcony. It added space.
