adequate stay with issues
high temperature excessive noise
I expected more from this stay. the room temperature was too high. There was no air conditioning available. this made for an uncomfortable night. also, street noise was excessive. I could hear everything happening outside, even from a higher floor

well-kept hotel friendly staff quick resolution
I found the hotel to be very well kept with friendly staff throughout my stay. they readily supplied water, a simple but thoughtful amenity. my room was near the main train station and shopping areas. I appreciated this convenience. i found management quick to resolve an issue with the shower. They came with the right tools to fix it right away.
The soundproofing wasn't great. I clearly heard hallway noises and conversations.

helpful staff local knowledge solo traveler
The staff were helpful! They knew a lot about the local area. They suggested great restaurants and sightseeing spots. I felt safe as a solo traveler.
The noise from nearby rooms was quite noticeable. I could hear conversations and the television sometimes. Better soundproofing would greatly improve the stay.

central location helpful staff charging adapters
the hotel location was near the train station. reception gave charging adapters at no cost. the staff was also very helpful. the room had daily water bottles provided.
i found the elevator did not reach my floor. i walked up one floor with my suitcases. this was inconvenient.

Mixed Feelings About This Stay
missing refrigerator unsafe area
The staff was friendly and helpful.
I booked this assuming a certain level of comfort, but it fell short. There was no refrigerator in the room (seriously, is that still a thing?) and the lack of this amenity was quite inconvenient. The surrounding area also felt a bit unsafe at night, not the most relaxing atmosphere to return to after a day out.
