the canal view from my beautiful double room canal view was picturesque. the bed offered a very comfortable rest. the location proved excellent for accessing museums and the charming bridges. i found the complimentary happy hour a very nice touch, with snacks and drinks available.
they was dirty. this detracted somewhat from the otherwise charming ambiance.

i stayed three nights and found the facilities very clean. the staff was helpful and the location was convenient. i enjoyed the breakfast , it was worth the cost. as a solo female traveler, i felt safe due to its proximity to many attractions.
i had a minor issue with street noise since my room was on the lower level. this sometimes disrupted my sleep.

the hotel lacks an elevator, so carrying heavy luggage up the stairs was difficult.
