My friend and i celebrated our birthdays. The hotel. they upgraded our room and gave us a complimentary bottle of bubbles and cake. we also enjoyed drinks at the hotel bar. the room had balloons and flowers! the spa was divine, and room service was fast.

really good service city views excellent sound
the staff provided really good service throughout my stay (they really go above and beyond). the breakfast at mr porter's offered great city views, especially during sunrise. i especially liked the in-room speakers, providing excellent sound quality. the spa, located in a former bank vault, added a unique historical element to the experience.
i found the room a bit too warm despite the air conditioning being on the lowest setting.

confusing building lot of dust
the hotel is located in the heart of the city. the location makes it easy to get around to other areas.
the building layout was confusing. the room was dark and had a weird layout (i really think they could have done better). i also noticed they clearly never clean under the furniture, because there was a lot of dust.
