The hotel offers free high-speed WiFi throughout the property, luggage storage for early arrivals or late departures, and the option for early check-in when available. A lift connects the upper floors to the pub entrance, and key card access provides security across three doors before reaching the rooms.

Rooms & Comfort

All rooms include a private bathroom with essential amenities, a desk, a TV, and a safety deposit box. Room types available include Deluxe Double, Deluxe Twin, and Small Double rooms, each offering comfortable beds and daily housekeeping service. Some rooms feature tea and coffee making facilities, and the hotel provides a fan upon request for warmer nights.

Location & Access

The hotel is within walking distance of the National Museum of Ireland - Archaeology, St Stephen's Green, and Aviva Stadium. Guests can reach Merrion Square, Fitzwilliam Square, and EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum in under 15 minutes on foot. Grand Canal Dock Station and bus stops directly outside provide easy connections to Dublin city centre and Dublin Airport, which is 11 km away.

Dining & Entertainment

The on-site pub, O'Connor's, serves a full menu of Irish dishes including a beef stew noted by guests as one of the best. The bar offers a wide selection of drinks, including Guinness at €6.80 per pint, and shows live football matches. Weekly community events such as Thursday night pub quizzes and local fundraising darts competitions create a social atmosphere that involves guests.

Guest Experience & Value

The family-run model means staff (named by guests: Wendy, Kieran, Ross, Jennifer, John, Daniel, Ciaran) provide personalised service and local recommendations. Guests frequently mention the friendly atmosphere and the resident dog Molly, who adds to the traditional Irish hospitality. Competitive pricing relative to other central Dublin hotels makes it a cost-effective choice for tourists and business travellers alike.

decent stay with some issues

friendly staff clean room comfortable beds hot room small window cramped space
the staff was very friendly there. the room was clean and smelled good, that was important. the beds were also comfortable. i also liked the location.
the room was hot, made sleeping difficult. the window only opened a little, about 6 inches. it was cramped too, especially for two adults. even with the fan provided, it was still too warm.

the room was very small, and the lack of sunlight. i also found that elevator access was restricted to the pub's opening hours, this was a real inconvenience. the absence of included breakfast was a definite drawback.
