Acceptable, but needs work.
lumpy mattress small bathroom
The room looked worn. The mattress felt old and lumpy, I could feel every spring. That impacted my sleep. The bathroom was also quite small. There wasn't enough space to move comfortably in the shower.

the location is very convenient, just a short walk from the train station!!! the room included a good size bathroom. the tv worked, a nice bonus. wi-fi also worked fine.
the stairs were very unstable and wonky. it was difficult to climb the 58 steps to the top floor.

great value and location
convenient location satisfying breakfast reliable wifi
The location proved convenient, especially coming from overseas and arriving too late for train connections. It was a short walk from both victoria tube and victoria coach station. the included breakfast offered sausages, eggs, beans, and toast, alongside cereal, coffee, juice, and milk, it was simple but satisfying. i also appreciated the complimentary and reliable wifi connection .
the mattress was quite firm for my liking, and the two thin pillows didn't provide the support i needed for a good night's sleep. it was just a minor discomfort, but i managed alright.

filthy drain unclean bedding
the location was convenient. it was close to victoria station.
The shower was bad. i had to turn on the sink tap and wait ten minutes for the water to heat, then switch the shower on. the drain was filthy. The owner poured bleach down it. the bedding wasn't clean. It only had clean pillowcases.

charming stay near victoria
friendly staff english breakfast complimentary drinks tasty soup
The staff were really friendly. They located a lost item for us after a call. the breakfast included a tasty full english option. it was home-cooked and prepared by two wonderful women. there was a vending machine with complimentary drinks in the lobby, plus, the vegetable soup was surprisingly great!
The stairs were quite a climb. Just be prepared for that, though!

Every staff member was pleasant and helpful, ready to assist with any needs. they promptly found our forgotten item after we called. the staff also provided a portable heater. it was not needed after the heating was restarted.

the area around the hotel was quiet, but just a short walk away were pubs, cafes, and restaurants! victoria station, including underground, bus, and coach stations, was about 10 minutes by foot. several theaters were also within walking distance.

helpful staffs victoria station good breakfast damp spots broken bed faulty shower door
i did adore how helpful all the staffs are. they helped me with my luggage to my room. the location was good, close to the victoria station. the breakfast included simple food, but it did taste good.
my room had damp spots on the ceiling, it was quite noticeable. the bed felt broken and was uneven. the shower door was not attached properly, this made showering hard.

this hotel have good location for transport links. it also have staff very helpful allowing store my bike. i found plenty pubs and shops near by. my room was clean and tidy with great view over area.
i found no elevator, this can be hard with large bags.
