An award-winning breakfast is served directly to guest rooms and includes freshly baked croissants, coffee, and bacon sandwiches. The hotel's honesty bar in the library offers self-service drinks and snacks, with a selection of wine, champagne, and sherry. Afternoon tea is available daily in the lounges, and special diet menus can be requested.

Amenities & Services

The hotel has a library lounge with a working fireplace and a rich collection of books, along with two additional sitting rooms. A 24-hour front desk provides concierge service, express check-in/check-out, and luggage storage. Hazlitt's also offers pet bowls and pet baskets, daily housekeeping, laundry, dry cleaning, and board games for guests.

Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Hazlitt's provides a unique and historical experience in the heart of Soho, just a short walk from theatres and tube stations. Guests appreciate the themed rooms, some even receiving upgrades to larger rooms during the week, and the special touches like tea trays in the drawing rooms. The location is ideal for exploring attractions like the British Museum and the National Gallery, although some guests have noted noise from the lively Soho streets despite the extra glazing on the windows. Breakfast bacon sandwiches served in the room are particularly popular, and the Duke of Monmouth suite stands out with its lovely terrace.

decent stay in a dated room

central location friendly staff modern amenities precarious stairs
the hotel has a very central location. the decor makes one feel as though he stepped back in time. the staff are friendly and efficient, it is very helpful. this hotel is quirky.
minimal modern AMENITIES are available for the high price. there was no bottled water available in my room as a courtesy, and i had to get a bottle from the mini bar. i found that the stairs are a bit precarious. the room felt quite tight.
