fresh pastries in-room safe
The breakfast buffet had plenty of options (I particularly enjoyed the fresh pastries). The staff quickly addressed a minor issue with the in-room safe. It was resolved within minutes of reporting it.
The elevator could sometimes be slow during peak hours.

lovely view reasonable price excellent customer service thoughtful gesture
the penthouse suite blew me away! i mean, the view was lovely, and honestly, the price reminded me of a steal for all that space. the customer service really went the extra mile, i swear. it was our anniversary, and they helped book dinner and even fado reservations! (so thoughtful, right?)
i found only a minor thing, the elevator could be a tad slow during peak hours.

small room basic decor
the room i got was small, a bit cramped actually. the decor was basic, nothing special. breakfast was ok, but not much variety. honestly, i think the hotel needs some updates and i don't think it was worth the money i paid.

the staff was polite and helpful. the breakfast buffet offered many choices until 12 noon..
the street noise was noticeable since the hotel is on a busy street with cobblestones, but the windows did a fair job of blocking it out.
