renovated and radiant

convenient location great rate
The location was very convenient, close to the train station. i rolled my bags with ease despite the snow. the hotel is near the jordaan and 9 streets, a nice change from the red light district. the rate was great for such a nice hotel. I was charmed.
I understand the hotel is being renovated. the breakfast space felt inadequate. also, the walk to the elevators felt a bit strange.

the room felt spacious. the decor was modern. i found the bed comfortable. It provided a relaxing experience after a long day.

rude staff cash deposit
the front desk staff were downright rude when i checked in. i only had cash, and they insisted on a security deposit. they snickered and made snide remarks when i explained i didn't have a card. to this day, i still haven't gotten my money back.
