underwhelming stay despite the hype
dated lighting sink drain
the location was acceptable for exploring the city center, i suppose.
Honestly, the room desperately needed some updates. the lighting seemed dated. plus, the sink drain held water. Quite annoying and not very hygienic, if you ask me.

central location pancake machine helpful staff
the location was super central , and i walked to many attractions. the breakfast included a great selection, with a pancake machine and a juicer. the staff was really helpful , and zsofia were really nice too ensure my stay was comfortable.
i found the sink drain in the bathroom held water.

the hotel is very close to two metro stations , opera and bajcsy-zsilinszky ut. it is within a five-minute walk. the hungarian state opera and st istvan basilica are also nearby.

the location provided an opportunity to visit key monuments. i could also easily access the jewish quarter with its pubs and restaurants. the rooms offered superior comfort. all employees provided good service ready to meet my needs
the breakfast room seemed like a downgrade. i also noticed the prepaid advance rate was much higher. it was more than what a walk in would pay on the day. this difference in pricing affected my perception of value

a decent hotel in a central location
convenient location decent breakfast insufficient cleaning faulty sink
i found the hotel to be in a very convenient location. major attractions were easily walkable from there. the self-service breakfast was quite good and offered a decent variety of options.
the room i stayed in needs some improvements. i found a pair of socks on the floor behind the curtains suggesting cleaning wasn't thorough. also, the sink drain held water, inconvenient.

The room was spacious! it had great soundproof windows. a/c worked super well. the bed, so comfortable! plus, there was an espresso coffee machine right in the room. How cool is that! we loved that the front desk was efficient and available 24/7. Super helpful. also. Coffee and tea were available in the lobby at all times. nice bonus!
I noticed the pre-paid advance rate was a bit higher. Like 50% more than what you might pay as a walk-in on the day. it is just a minor thing, though.

substandard cleaning retained water
The breakfast had many choices and it was of good quality.
The room cleaning was substandard. I found a pair of socks left behind the curtains. The bay windows had heavy curtains and lacked rods for ease of use. The sink drain also retained water, annoying.
