charming riverside retreat
efficient desk convenient path excellent location city access
the front desk was efficient. i really liked that the hotel is directly beside a walking biking path! it was convenient to dine across the bridge. i found the hotel to be excellent for accessing the city.
The air conditioning controls seemed a little restricted. I did have to ask for an adjustment at reception.

Our room faced the river danube. it had views of the chain bridge and the buda castle. It was very well appointed. the bed linen felt very soft. The bathroom had quality toiletries.

The staff assisted us with our bus ticket purchase. the front desk staff was particularly efficient. they seemed very friendly and provided needed information. Their hospitality was great, though the rooftop door staff were not that great!

Excellent Location and Service
helpful staff free wine
i had a superior double room danube view. the staff was very polite and helpful. a complimentary drink was given upon arrival. a bottle of wine was also in the room.
the room i stayed in was on the smaller side. there was very little space between the bed and furniture. i also found that the sheets were not changed once during my three night stay.

the hotel features a rooftop bar with excellent views. there is a nespresso machine in the room, which i used and appreciated. breakfast had a wide choice of options, which i found quite satisfying.

the location is very central. it is close to the chain bridge and the castle. i was able to easily walk to nearby attractions, and i really enjoyed how convenient it was.

shower door poor room layout
the staff was helpful during check-in.
I was pretty annoyed with the room setup. the shower lacked a proper door, and water splashed all over the floor. the sink area felt disorganized, and i found myself constantly dripping water everywhere. It wasn't well planned (it felt chaotic).

a balanced stay
central location chain bridge view complimentary drink rooftop reservation abrupt staff communication issue
the location was very central. the chain bridge and river views from my room were very nice. the room itself was clean with adequate storage, and the shower was good. i also received a complimentary drink upon arrival and a bottle of wine in the room with some macaroons.
the rooftop restaurant required reservations, even for a simple drink. the downstairs entrance staff to the rooftop were a bit abrupt. i noticed a contrast between their demeanor and the friendliness of the rooftop staff. it seemed communication between the teams could improve.
