Charming Stay in Central Location
helpful staff canal tour quiet area
The receptionists were great, I found. They booked a canal tour that included unlimited wine and cheese. I also enjoyed a curated Spotify playlist while relaxing in the room. The location was perfect because it was quiet, yet close to the hustle and bustle.
The breakfast was very basic.

The hotel sits near the central station and central areas. I found it very easy to reach shops in seconds. It took roughly eight minutes to walk to Centraal Station, a great benefit for travellers.

mixed feelings about my stay
limited selection steep stairs
The breakfast proved quite disappointing. the selection was limited and items were not replenished quickly enough. also, i found the absence of a lift inconvenient, especially with the steep and narrow stairs. Managing luggage was difficult. assistance with carrying luggage beyond the first floor was not offered..

The location was AMAZING! it was a super short walk to restaurants and major attractions. i especially loved the welcome drink. Such a nice touch! the staff were friendly, courteous, and helpful. they provided awesome suggestions and answered my questions with so much patience!!!
the stairs were pretty steep and narrow, making it difficult to carry larger luggage to the upper floors.

the lobby area is eclectic and very accommodating, with a bar that offers coffee, water, and snacks. guests can enjoy a welcome drink upon arrival adding a touch of hospitality. i felt totally welcomed!

my canal view room was lovely and clean, and it was very comfortable! the decorations were super beautiful adding to the charm. i totally recommend getting a canal view room for the AMAZING scenery.

the location was great and central for exploring the city.
the room was small. space for luggage was insufficient, and the noise insulation was poor. i heard neighbors clearly, especially during the night (i was not able to sleep well).

poor ventilation heavy window
the location worked well and was close to where i needed to be.
the room lacked proper ventilation and the window felt heavy and hard to open, a problem i had for the duration of the stay.

convenient location friendly staff comfortable beds absent air conditioning small room absent elevator
The hotel had an excellent location near the canal. The staff were quite helpful and friendly at all times. I found the beds to be comfortable and the hotel style was endearing.
My room lacked air conditioning. The room was also somewhat small for my liking. I noticed there wasn't elevator service which was inconvenient.
