Acceptable Stay at a Landmark Hotel

helpful staff ideal location mold long wait
The location was ideal for exploring the city. It was very close to the opera house (a short walk). The staff at the front desk were helpful upon arrival.
The bathroom was substandard. I noticed mold in the shower grout (a clear sign of age). Hot water took a long time to reach the room. I waited almost seven minutes.

Excellent Stay I Had!

historical accuracy modern upgrade appropriate size front desk staff
I was charmed with my rooms historical accuracy and modern upgrades. Chandeliers are all throughout the accommodation, its really gorgeous. Rooms size are appropriate, and a modern bathroom exists. I appreciate the history in this beautifully restored building. I also found the front desk staff to be very friendly and cute.
My breakfast weren't too amazing for the level this location have. Morning coffee are not too good. The main lobby are a bit underwhelming when I enter it from street.

Excellent Hotel Stay

spacious room magnificent furnishing marble bathroom
The room was spacious with magnificent furnishings. It included chandeliers and heavy draperies. The large marble bathrooms added to the experience. Cozy soft bedding and bathrobes made the room comfortable.
The hotel restaurant experience was subpar. The food was overcooked during my first attempt. The second attempt required over two hours for the main course.
Dining

The breakfast service in the restaurant was awesome. I tasted the Imperial Torte with all flavors. The Imperial Cafe offers a tasty and varied menu.

The hotel has an excellent central location. Many major attractions are within walking distance. The opera house and Musikverein are around the corner from this place.
