a romantic retreat by the marina
helpful staff handy fridge cool decor great reception
I found the staff friendly, they were helpful when i needed directions. my room had a handy mini fridge i used every day. the decor in the lounge was cool. The music there added to the romantic atmosphere. we could leave our bags at the reception. That was a great help because our flight departed late.
the breakfast was a bit expensive for what it offered, even considering icelandic prices, though it had good variety.

The hotel is near the water and the marina, and it also provides easy walking access to the center of town. This makes it ideal for exploring. there are many restaurants within easy walking distance from the hotel, which i appreciated.

I found the staff at the front desk to be very nice. The hotel features L'Occitane body wash products in the rooms. The breakfast offered good choices .
My room had a broken window blind. This made sleeping difficult due to the continuous daylight.

I found the staff to be helpful. They made the check-in process efficient. I appreciated the on-site restaurant, so I had a convenient dining option. The hotel also had free parking.
I found the bathroom door lacked a proper doorknob , so privacy was compromised. The television offered a limited number of channels. I also noticed a shipyard behind the hotel that could be noisy.

The hotel had a great location near the harbor, it made exploring easy. The common spaces were nicely decorated. The staff were helpful and accommodating, I APPRECIATED their assistance.
I experienced some road noise on one side of the hotel, it was a bit disruptive.

i remember we had a marina view room and it featured a balcony with views of snowy mountains. the staff were very polite and helpful throughout our stay. the food and drinks were all really good quality.
the bathroom door in our room had a gap all around it so there was no privacy at all.

the hotel has an excellent location well placed near tourist attractions. many tours start in this area near the marina and it is a very easy walk to downtown.

the staff were very helpful and friendly to every request. breakfast started early at 6:30 am and that allowed us to eat and still make our 8 am tour pickup without issue.

the common areas featured creative styling and interesting spaces. breakfast had a wide selection of quality products. there was even a library and cinema rooms at the lobby level to spend time.

whale watching lava show free breakfast
The location was perfect. It was ideal for whale watching boat trips and seeing the lava show. i also found it easy to walk into town for shops and restaurants. the free breakfast was excellent. There were many choices and the area was super clean.
The rooms are very tiny. Mine had a window blind that was broken. this made it difficult to sleep due to the summer all night sun
