port wine pastries quiet room helpful staff
The complimentary port and pastries were a nice touch. The room was quiet with dark rooms for sleeping. The staff were helpful (especially with directions).
The gym had limited hours , made planning my workouts difficult.

amazing welcome delicious breakfast refreshing pool
The staff gave us the most amazing welcome! The breakfasts were delicious, and the little swimming pool was welcome. Particular thanks to Andrea and all the other reception staff, they were really good.

limited gym equipment coffee facilities
the breakfast was acceptable , but nothing extraordinary.
i was a bit disappointed that the room did not have coffee or tea making facilities , once you would expect this these days. also , the gym equipment was quite limited , with only a couple of cardio machines. it reminded me of an afterthought rather than a proper fitness area.

poor ventilation no in-room coffee
The location was convenient for getting around the city.
The room I received differed from pictures online. The bathroom had no ventilation. I also found the lack of coffee or tea making facilities in the room inconvenient.

damp bed linen poor insulation
the breakfast had a good selection of rolls, breads and pastries as well as a variety of juices and fruits. eggs and bacon were also available.
the room was cold and humid. the double bed felt small, and the bed linen was damp. there seemed to be no insulation in the bathroom at all, we loved the pool. but the view was terrible!

I found the breakfast excellent with diverse choices available daily. The staff members were helpful and friendly, consistently assisting with directions. The hotel's central location provided easy access to various restaurants and public transport options. The doorman offered really good assistance and was very nice.
The room lacked coffee or tea-making facilities. Instead, the hotel offered Port wine.
