the staff welcomed me instantly and seemed relaxed during check in. they also took time to provide useful information about local attractions and transportation options.

the location was acceptable with several restaurants and cafes nearby
the room felt dated there were no plug points near the bed for my phone charger the television was a tiny grundig from the 60s

The staff was helpful arranging directions. i found two metro stations near the hotel. i took a bus to belém. the main shopping street was a few stops by metro. It was convenient.
The reception desk sometimes seemed unattended. It was not a major issue though.

the staff assisted with train information. i found the employees professional. they offered help with directions and general travel advice. i appreciated the consistent positive attitude that was present.

My room had air conditioning, which worked well. a turndown service occurred nightly. i received complimentary water each night. the shower worked very well. I found it refreshing.
