mixed bag in central location
small room broken towel rack
the room was small , even for a single traveler like me. i booked a "standard double or twin room", but it felt more like a single. the bathroom was especially cramped , and the towel rack was broken. i wasn't thrilled.

a sweet spot in chiado
convenient location helpful staff fresh array quiet room
i found the location quite lively, right next to the metro station, this made traveling so convenient. the staff was always available and ready to assist! the breakfast included a fresh array of foods. the room was quiet, a welcome retreat after a day exploring.
The lack of water availability at the hotel, even for purchase, was a minor inconvenience. Having to find a store late at night wasn't ideal.

The included breakfast offered a good variety of fresh foods each morning. I especially liked the pastries! i found this provided a lovely start to each day, especially with the coffee machine available, which ensured a swift caffeine fix.

the room overlooking chiado square was lovely, with a vibrant view of the area. the air conditioning proved essential for staying comfortable, particularly given the warmer temperatures, and i appreciated the quietness once the windows were closed.

The staff members were friendly and quite helpful throughout my stay. Their kindness really enhanced the experience! they answered any questions i had about the surrounding area. also the daily cleaning service kept the room super clean.

dirty curtains sewage smell
The location was good, very central. I was disappointed in the room maintenance though. The curtains had tears and were coming off the rails. There was also a strange smell in the hallway. It resembled sewage. I hope they fix these issues soon.
