A balanced experience
perfect location helpful staff nice touch sound proofing tall stairs no elevator
The location was PERFECT. It was so close to many attractions and restaurants. The staff were VERY helpful. They let us into our room a couple hours early. The breakfast and snacks provided in the shared sitting area were wonderful. It was a NICE touch.
The rooms had ZERO sound proofing. Every single sound from the next door bathroom echoed into our room ALL night. Signs were posted in all hotel rooms to be quiet after 11pm. This was unfortunately not observed. The hotel is on the fourth floor of a historic building. It has no elevator. The stairs are tall.

the staff was super attentive and kind. the continental breakfast each morning included good options. the open air square right opposite the hotel had restaurant facilities.
The stairs to the reception were quite numerous. There isn't a lift.

The staff was really thoughtful. They left a daily complimentary gift after cleaning the room, a chocolate or port wine sample, so sweet! the location was wonderful, directly across from the carmo cathedral, i loved the view from the balcony, especially the cathedral lit up at night. complimentary breakfast and water refills were a huge bonus. It felt so generous.
the portable air con unit wasn't great, and i am worried it won't be able to handle the summer heat! it struggled to keep the room cool and took up space.

The staff was attentive and helpful, ensuring a smooth check-in process. They also offered dining recommendations and local tips. little touches, like providing distilled water after i inquired about the nearest market, added to the excellent service i experienced.

This place is centrally located and convenient. The hotel is directly across from the carmo cathedral. i found many restaurants within walking distance, and i enjoyed exploring a trendy neighborhood in the evenings, everything was accessible.

the complimentary breakfast included a continental selection and was a great start to the day! the hotel is very close to restaurant facilities and an italian restaurant is conveniently around the corner, that was awesome!

The room was beautiful, and the hosts were very accommodating, what a nice plus. I had sufficient facilities. i found the en-suite shower with the beautiful suite to be very spacious, and the bed was comfy, i must say!
