friendly staff early check-in delicious breakfast cozy bar
The staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious, I especially liked the eggs Benedict. Roberta at reception allowed me to check in early. The bar had a fire making it a cozy place for drinks.
The bathroom was a bit small.

room noise broken air conditioning
i found the room to be quite noisy. the sounds from outside and some internal hotel operations disrupted my sleep consistently . the promised air conditioning did not work, it made the room very stuffy. it wasn't a pleasant experience, and i expected better for the price i paid.

constant rattling dated furniture
the location was fine, near transport links.
The noise levels were unbearable. Trams screamed past all night. i struggled to sleep with the constant rattling. the room itself felt dated. The furniture looked worn, and the tv was tiny. i expected better considering the price.
