Excellent Hotel Experience
ferry terminal dining option major attraction
The hotel's location is a highlight. It is next to the ferry terminal to the islands. I also found several good dining options nearby. I appreciated the proximity to major attractions.
I experienced a delay in housekeeping service one day. My room was not cleaned until late in the afternoon, disrupting my schedule. I hope this issue is addressed .

quick parking chocolate cake
the staff provided quick valet parking. the hotel offered a chocolate cake and wine to celebrate our wedding anniversary (it was a nice surprise).
the main entrance is on the third floor and accessing it involves navigating slippery stone stairs.

unfinished room rude service
the hotel always been a go-to choice because location and amenities. i booked corner jr suite last year, attending taylor swift concert. my daughter booked same room, floors down. she had same problems. our room redone, but room next door undergoing work. they supposedly worked 7:30, 5, but our neighbor worked before after these hours. the room seemed not quite finished. no hot water was major issue. barely warm water. i talked to front desk and engineers came up to our and my daughter's room fast. seems the thermostat in both rooms weren't set for real occupancy. the problem only 75% solved, next morning the water cold. seems others use water? unacceptable for a room nearly 1k/night. also ice unavailable. not on floors above below. i called service desk and told rudely to put my ice bucket outside the door, someone will fill it. an hour later, no ice looked. cleaner found me ice after calling direct. it was so disappointing have this service for a stay not budget.

The staff showed me great attentiveness and respect. It was excellent. i loved the filtered drinking water tap in the room. I did not need to buy water bottles! there were many things for kids to do including the pool. Pickleball. Games room. And movie nights.
I found the wine glasses in our room to be very dusty. They had not been cleaned in some time. the shower leaked from under the sliding door. I noticed a sticky substance that had not been washed off the window ledge. the tv did not work. I reported it. Someone from maintenance did come up.

wonderful lakeside experience
great comfort breakfast buffet
the beds offered great comfort and i had a restful sleep each night. the breakfast buffet included many options and was well-stocked each morning. i found the location to be very convenient near harbourfront attractions and transportation. the staff at the valet and service desks were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
the wine glasses in my room had accumulated dust and clearly had not been properly cleaned recently. i think that a more thorough cleaning schedule should be implemented to maintain higher standards.

the valet service was efficient and readily available for parking needs. the front desk provided quick check-in and check-out assistance each time. staff provided information about local attractions and directions when i inquired .

the proximity to key downtown sites made it easy to explore without relying on transportation. it was easy to access public transportation from the hotel, including the ferry. i walked to many restaurants, shops, and entertainment venues from the hotel.

elevator issues dated room
The location was GREAT. The rates seemed reasonable enough, I suppose.
The elevators in the North Tower caused MANY issues. Only one of the five lifts was operational , IT seemed dangerous. Our room was average and A little dated. The fridge froze my drinks.

lake view clean hotel
the room had a great view of the lake. the hotel was very clean and accommodating overall.
The music in the public areas was too loud. It reminded me of walking into a nightclub upon entering reception.
