The sink in my room drained poorly. I even showed the staff pictures of sludge I removed from the drain, but they didn't address it. Hot water was unavailable late at night. The manager said this was for safety, to prevent guests from getting burned. The valet service was slow. I waited in the lobby for extended periods.

EVERYTHING worked smoothly. I used the complimentary shuttle to the cruise port. This was A HUGE help. The rooftop lounge PROVIDED Lovely views. Staff offered suggestions for tours.

The bed felt a little firmer THAN i expected. I prefer a slightly softer mattress. It affected my sleep quality.

i liked that the staff was helpful and provided an early check-in. i was happy that the hotel is within walking distance of the ferry to granville island. i also enjoyed that there are restaurants and a rooftop bar on the premises..

the master switch for the room was hard to find at night. the switch for the bedroom light controlled the bathroom light, even though there were two switches in the bathroom. i didn't want to wake my spouse to use the washroom.

the location was perfect for walking to nearby cafes and restaurants. super nice team and friendly during my whole stay. the hotel allowed for a late checkout. they also gladly stored my luggage until i departed for the airport.

the room had a standing air conditioner, and a big pipe went out the back through the window. this meant a piece of plastic replaced the window pane and was taped on with a hole. a lot of outside noise could come in.
