Mixed Feelings About This Resort
sports bar lack inconvenient shuttle
i faced a couple of issues. The lack of sports programming at the so-called 'sports bar' was a MAJOR disappointment. I hoped to watch Champions League soccer and NBA and NHL playoffs (games that were taking place), but the screens remained blank. the distance to the beach club requires reliance on shuttles. This added an extra layer of planning and potential delays to beach visits.

decent stay, some issues
safe transportation concierge service clear signage weak breakfast special celebration
No one felt pushy. transportation from and to the place secure hotel as the amstar staff was always available. the resort staff was good. marlen, the staff concierge, were pretty good too meet our every request. she booked our reservations for restaurants and followed up to ensure everything went well.
We traveled by car, and we noticed details that didn't match a luxury resort experience. there is no clear signage indicating where to leave your vehicle for check-in. breakfast was one of the weakest points. Limited variety and service felt not warm or genuine. they ask about celebrations but don't do anything special like other resorts do.

friendly staff exciting resort
i found the staff very friendly and helpful. the resort itself was quite beautiful and exciting and i was impressed by their treatment of guests.
the pools at the resort close relatively early at 6pm.
