Pros

Heritage building location provides authentic architectural character

Rooftop garden offers panoramic city views

Walking distance to multiple cultural landmarks and museums

Motion sensor lights in rooms enhance energy efficiency

Cons

40-minute drive from Changi International Airport

Some rooms do not have windows

“The location strikes me as ideal for exploring Singapore, with quick access to Chinatown and a reasonable walk to the Merlion; plus, having a bus stop right outside is a definite perk. Rooms have been updated and feel clean, and while the walls might be a tad thin, the overall price-to-quality ratio makes it a solid choice.”

convenient stay near chinatown

excellent locationclean roomplus window
the location was excellent, it was close to chinatown and several mrts. the room was clean and tidy, bigger than i expected. having a window was a plus. it was just right for a few nights stay.
i could hear the neighbouring club and the place isn't sound proof.
Dining
9/10
there were many dinner options around the neighborhood. the nearby chinatown offered numerous food choices. the proximity to various eateries made dining out very easy with a diverse selection available.
Location

small roomworn towels
The room was quite small. i found it difficult to fully open my suitcase. Space was tight! also, the provided towels felt rather worn. they were not the softest. i found some threads were coming loose. i expect better quality.

Acceptable Stay, Some Minor Issues

convenient locationluggage storagefriendly staffsmall roomsqueaky bedmissing window
The location is convenient, with easy access to various attractions. I was able to store luggage after checkout, helpful. The staff was friendly during check-in and check-out. The hotel offered a flat-rate one-way trip to the airport.
My room was quite small, leaving minimal space for luggage. The bed was unusually squeaky, and noise was a problem. I could hear sounds from the hallway clearly. There were no windows in my room, so it was very dark during the day.

The location work well for seeing main attractions. I walked to Marina Bay, China Town, and Clark Quay. A bus stop was just outside the hotel. The staff was helpful.
The room was very small. I could barely open my big luggage inside the room. It made packing difficult. There was one chair, so eating in the hotel was challenging.

Excellent Location and Clean Rooms

comfortable bedquiet roomgreat locationeasy access
The hotel is easy to reach from the airport using the MRT. We walked from Raffles Plaza. The room faced a major road but it was surprisingly quiet (we were on the 3rd floor). The bed was very comfortable. The location is great with easy access to the riverfront.
The room was a bit small. It felt a bit convoluted.
Facilities
9/10
The hotel features a water dispenser in the hallway, a detail I found very useful (especially after long walks). The reception operates 24 hours, enabling fast check-in and check-out. This is a plus when arriving late or departing early.
