cute staff great location beautiful room poor bathroom design dangerous combo small ledge
the staff were great, everyone we encountered was cute. the location is really great for a city break. my room was beautiful, a real gem.
i stayed in a king premium room, the bathroom was poorly designed. the bath-shower combo felt precarious and almost dangerous. the sink and vanity ledge was small, i could not balance my toiletry bag.

Wonderful Hotel Experience!
castle view clean spa friendly staff
My room was upgraded. I got top floor access with a castle view! The spa was clean. It had a very relaxing atmosphere. I look forward to returning. The service met expectations. The staff were very friendly. They offered helpful recommendations about local bars.
I found the breakfast options somewhat lacking. They could improve the selection. The cooked breakfast seemed flabby. The sourdough bread was not available. I think the hotel should reconsider the budget cuts. The cost-cutting measures impacted my experience.

thin walls dated decor
The walls are paper thin. I could hear everything. i mean, everything. it. also, the room decor felt a bit dated. i think it could use a refresh, as the current style seems stuck in a bygone era.. it's not the worst thing, but definitely not what i'd expect for the price.

Really good Stay with Great Service
excellent service convenient location comfortable room breakfast selection
I appreciated the staff's dedication to providing excellent service, especially Elvira who were really nice. The hotel is centrally located, made exploring convenient. I found the rooms very comfortable and well kept. The breakfast selection was great with awesome choices.
The room was slightly tired with lifted flooring. I also could hear corridor noise.

The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of options, including cooked items like sausages and haggis. The Baba restaurant provided good meals and dog-friendly seating arrangements, if you email ahead of time. I spent enjoyable evenings in the bar, all thanks to the great bar staff.

My room on level 4 provided a fantastic view of the castle and a comfy bed. The room design felt well planned with every detail carefully considered. I particularly loved the bathroom and soaking tub with a view, it was beyond luxurious.
