a nice stay
high ceilings thoughtful touches comfy bed
the room was beautiful. it had high ceilings and lots of thoughtful touches were placed in every corner. the bathroom was gorgeous! the bed was super comfy.
street parking was available, though it was free only on the weekend.

The location offered convenient access to major attractions. I was very close to holyrood palace. the hotel's proximity to carlton hill also provided easy access to walking and beautiful city views. the area felt safe and accessible.

The staff was very helpful. They showed us around the premises upon arrival. the owner took good care of us. beth was very accommodating, and ensured all our needs were met. I got a warm welcome.

mixed feelings about my stay
inflexible staff disruptive noise
the check-in process was not smooth. i arrived a bit early, about 30 minutes before the stated check-in time. the staff seemed quite inflexible. they initially refused to let me leave my luggage while i waited, i found this quite inconvenient and not very cute.

egg bath kind staff
the room was tastefully furnished i found the bathroom a standout with an egg bath and a spacious separate shower. the staff were very kind engaged and cute making my arrival smooth.
i noticed some street noise which was not ideal and a bit distracting at times it did affect my overall relaxation slightly.

The room was extraordinary and well thought out. It offered all modern conveniences. The staff at reception were polite and informative. I could drop off my bag early. The building is beautiful, a true gem.
I noticed some street noise during the night, a very slight disturbance.

Best Hotel EVER!
clean rooms fresh air
I totally loved how clean the rooms were. I also appreciated the super spacious bathroom. I also could open the windows for some super fresh air. The location was perfect, really close to Princes Street, I found it all so easy!
The luggage storage options, were a little difficult. This place is a restaurant with rooms, so it made things a little tricky. I wish there was more space for bags and such!
