i needed a convenient location. the room was exactly as shown in the photos online. it was close to attractions , yet quiet for sleeping. i appreciated how easy it was to reach the guesthouse by bus from the airport.
the stair carpet could pose a slight hazard for elderly guests , as it is not completely even.

The location is great. It is close to the sights. the decor is quaint, i thought. check-in was easy and quick. I appreciated that after a long journey. the staff gave clear instructions
Towels were not replaced which was a bit of an issue. they also didn't dry quickly. I wished there was a heated towel rail.

The hotel is near public transport. buses make it easy to get to and from the city centre. This is very useful. you are about 15 minutes from the castle.

The room felt stuffy and not completely clean. I found dust on the headboards. I also found some unknown pellets on the bedsheets.

The location was convenient to Haymarket train station. Restaurants and cafes were within walking distance. I appreciated that the room had twin beds, which suited my preference (I move a lot when I sleep!).
The lack of on-site breakfast options was a minor drawback. I needed to walk a bit to find a suitable cafe in the morning.

Check-in was fast and uncomplicated at the reception. The receptionist was both friendly and cute. I found the owner to be very accommodating, as well (a real plus!).
