nice view friendly staff great location steep stairs small room bathroom hairs
I stayed in a double or twin room canal view. THE view was nice! The staff were friendly and helpful . The location was great. I could walk everywhere easily.
The stairs were VERY steep. I struggled with my luggage because there was no elevator. The room was quite small and a bit cramped, I noticed some hairs in the bathroom.

central location with simple amenities

convenient location helpful staff
I appreciated the location, a short walk from the central station, close to restaurants and transportation.. the downstairs bar was a bonus. I liked drink specials and convenience. the staff was helpful too, providing assistance when needed.
The stairs were quite steep and narrow, especially challenging with heavy luggage to the top floor. There wasn't an elevator beyond the first floor. it made it difficult to manage bags safely.

charming canal side stay!

convenient location helpful staff
I found the location to be convenient, just a short walk from many attractions. the staff were also very helpful with directions and recommendations. the room was basic, but clean. I appreciated having a lift available, especially with luggage.
The stairs were steep. this made getting my luggage up to the room a bit difficult. This is worth considering if you have mobility issues or heavy bags.
Location
9/10
The central train station is within walking distance, perfect for arriving and departing.
Facilities
8/10
the hotel offers luggage storage, which i found very useful both before check-in and after check-out, though, i think they could use more space given how busy they are. the availability of a lift to reach the upper floors was beneficial.
Dining
9/10
i did appreciate the complimentary drink ticket provided at check-in for a free drink with the purchase of another at the bar! the bar area had a nice, cozy vibe.

Acceptable Location, Some Issues

small room steep stairs
The location is indeed ideal (I will give them that).
The room I booked was small. It was like a closet. The steep stairs leading to the room were also a problem. Carrying luggage up those narrow steps was dangerous. I was not informed about the steep stairs prior to arrival.

functional shower quick assistance public transport
My double or twin room private bathroom included necessary amenities. I found a functional shower with consistent hot water, it was something i needed. The reception staff provided quick assistance with directions. I appreciated the proximity to public transportation. The central station was a short walk.
The staircase to the room felt very narrow. Carrying luggage was difficult and could pose a challenge for some guests. The lack of elevator service was noticeable, i had to take the stairs.
Facilities

The hotel provides a cozy bar downstairs where guests can unwind and socialize with other travelers, with a wide selection of beverages, i noticed. The shared lounge offers an additional space to rest and talk.
