3-star hotel in historic Chuo Ward with a public bath and on-site museum

Amenities & Services

Hotel Kazusaya offers a public bath on the second floor, open daily from 5AM to 9AM and 4PM to 1AM. Guests have access to coin-operated washers and dryers for 500yen per cycle. A small museum on the same floor documents the hotel's history since its founding in 1891.

Rooms

Each air-conditioned room includes a desk, electric kettle, refrigerator, flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom with a bidet. Soundproof windows keep street noise out, and the hotel provides Japanese-style pajamas for sleeping. Room types range from Single Rooms with Shower to Deluxe Twin Rooms and Double Rooms with a Small Double Bed.

Dining

The on-site restaurant serves both Japanese and Western breakfasts; guests must inform the front desk by midnight the day before their choice. Japanese breakfast features grilled fish, miso soup, and rice, while the Western option includes egg salad and tuna sandwiches. Lunch and dinner are also available, with dishes such as wagyu burger and set meals noted by reviewers.

Location

The hotel sits within a 3-minute walk of Shin-Nihombashi Station and a 6-minute walk of Kanda Station, providing direct access to the JR Yamanote and Sobu lines. Tokyo Station is a 15-minute walk away, and the electronics district of Akihabara is 20 minutes on foot. Nearby cultural sites include the Ozu History Museum and the Takarada Ebisu Shrine.

Business & Services

A 24-hour front desk handles currency exchange, luggage storage, and luggage forwarding to other cities. The hotel provides meeting and banquet facilities, a trouser press, and vending machines on site. Private parking is available for guests arriving by car, and the security features include CCTV, smoke alarms, and key-card access.

Highlights

Wellness: Public bath open 5AM-9AM and 4PM-1AM

History: On-site museum tracing hotel's 1891 origins

Laundry: 500-yen coin-operated washers and dryers

Location: 3min from Shin-Nihombashi Station, 15min walk to Tokyo Station

“In Tokyo's Chuo Ward, I found this hotel offers a surprising mix of modern convenience and traditional charm. The location strikes a nice balance, and the public bath is a welcome addition after a day exploring nearby attractions like the Ozu History Museum. It seems well-suited for business or leisure travelers seeking an affordable base in a historic area.”
