The room lacked a proper ceiling finish. It exposed raw plugs, which detracted slightly from the otherwise polished decor.

the location is certainly convenient. the proximity to belvedere and walking distance to train and bus access are advantageous. i appreciated the complimentary beer and water on arrival. the lobby area had a lively atmosphere, and the receptionists were helpful.

my room lacked proper clothing storage. there were no drawers or a wardrobe available. the shower's placement in the middle of the room seemed unconventional. i noticed some ceiling plaster was missing, giving an unfinished impression.

I found the staff helpful from arrival to checkout. the room had a very clean feel. I even used hotel towels for my face. the beds are comfy. I haven't slept like that in months.

The air conditioning didn't work. the hotel suggested opening the windows, but the hotel sits on a busy street, so opening the window meant constant traffic noise. It was not ideal.

The hotel is located next to schloss belvedere and its gardens. many eating places are within walking distance. There is even an austrian style restaurant in the park across the road. it's a 20-minute walk to the city center. A slow walk takes about 30 minutes.
