historical charm and modern comforts
unique room minimalist aesthetic necessary item
i stayed in the beautiful double room antonie van leeuwenhoek. the room was visually unique and was like i was in a movie. it was minimalist, but they clearly thought about the mechanics of the room. the room had almost everything necessary and not much more.
the water in my room was never replaced, i was told tap water is fine to drink. i also had no milk for hot drinks in my room. i could get milk from reception, but it wasn't open one morning at 7.

the hotel boasts a very quiet location right in the center of everything. guests can easily walk to various restaurants and a supermarket nearby. this provides convenience without sacrificing a peace all around.

rooms feature two showers together. breakfast is delivered directly to the room. the hotel offers a tiny charming spa for restorative treatments, i found this to be a real highlight.

a nice stay in a uniquely themed hotel
luxurious room friendly staff convenient location
i enjoyed the luxurious rembrandt room . the staff were all very friendly and helpful. breakfast in the room was a very nice touch and added to the experience. the location allowed easy access to many attractions.
the room was darker than i prefer, even with all the lights on. i had to use my phone's flashlight sometimes. the plug sockets near the bed were not usable with an adaptor, inconvenient.

a decent stay.
friendly staff room service dark room uncomfortable bed
the breakfast was delivered to the room. it was a good way to start the day. the staff were helpful! and friendly .
The room was quite dark. there were no brighter lights available to improve the visibility. the bed was spacious. But not particularly comfortable.

Acceptable, but with some drawbacks
dark room unusable plug sockets
The location was very good and easy to reach various points of interest.
The room was quite dark (even with the lights on). I even needed my phone's flashlight to see properly. the plug sockets beside the bed were essentially unusable as they were set into the furniture, so adaptor plugs did not fit at all.
