poor sound insulation unhelpful staff
the rooftop pool was acceptable.
i was annoyed i could easily hear people in the next room. there was a baby there. i asked them to book me a cab to the airport for the next morning. they said they don't do that and i could hail a cab from out front. this is not what i expect from a 4 star hotel.

cold pool broken shower
I was somewhat let down by a few things. The rooftop pool was quite cold. This made it less inviting. The rooftop area closes early at 8 PM. I could not fully enjoy it in the evening. My room had a broken shower, rather inconvenient.

functional blackout shades english channels panoramic view
the room included functional blackout shades. these shades ensured the room remained dark. the hotel provided a tv with several english channels. this allowed me to stay updated on news. the rooftop terrace offered a very nice panoramic view. i enjoyed quiet moments there.

adequate stay near the metro
convenient location clean room helpful staff dark room limited natural light rushed breakfast service
i found the location quite convenient. the metro station being so close was a real advantage. the room was clean and the staff was helpful, especially with directions.
The room felt somewhat dark. i had an internal window with limited natural light. It looked into an air shaft. the breakfast service felt rushed. it did not allow for a relaxed start to the day.

decent experience with MINOR issues
main thoroughfare easy access airport proximity convenient taxi nearby restaurants various bars seedy neighborhood slightly unsafe persistent noise street disturbance missing toiletries forgotten soap
The hotel IS near a main thoroughfare. i could get a taxi from the airport in about 25 minutes! that depends on traffic. bars and restaurants are very close.
I found the neighborhood a bit seedy. there WAS noise from both the street and hallways AT all hours. cleaning was hit-or-miss. They forgot to replace soap.
